Bubby was born November 22, 1960 to Allan and Joyce in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a premature and very sick baby. Bubby was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and was the state of Missouri’s poster boy for 14 years. He attended Saint Francis Xavier and Christ the King grade schools and graduated from Center High School in 1979. Bubby was an Eagle Scout from Troop 30 and member of the Trailblazers. After high school he joined the National Guard reserves serving until 1983 at the field artillery unit 129th Battalion in Independence, Missouri as a Specialist 4. He followed his father into the trade of carpentry and was a member of local union 61 and he excelled at his trade until his death.

Allan Jr. was preceded in death by his mother Joyce, his maternal grandmother Louise Lamping and paternal grandmother Minnie Anthuis. He is survived by his father, Allan Anthuis, Sr., three daughters: Natalie Jayne (John), Nicole Marie (Jake) and Tiffany Jo (Tyler) and his seven grandchildren: Hadley, Irelynn, Benny, Damian, Kale, Jack and Milo. Allan is also survived by his sister Myrna, brother Joe (Renee’) and sister Nancy (Doug) and his six nieces and nephews: Ryan (Shawna), Katyan (Lucy), Maddie Jo, Mason, Sam and Jacob.

Bubby loved life; he loved to golf, bowl, hunt, fish, and bet on his ponies. He was an absolute joy to be around, he was so funny and always kept us laughing. He will be missed terribly by all of us. He never met a stranger and had so many friends that he loved. He is now wrapped in the arms of our sweet momma and the loving warm light of our Lord.
