This charge includes basic services of funeral director and staff, refrigeration and cremation fee. If you want to arrange a Direct Cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard. We have a selection of alternative containers, cremation containers and caskets designed specifically for cremation. A complete price list will be provided at the funeral home. The crematory does not permit the use of alternative containers made of non-rigid materials or metals.
Our staff will assist you in selecting merchandise that adds value to your arrangements. Many of our offerings can be personalized to reflect the life they honor.
Our payment policy:
Mullinax Funeral Home accepts Cash, Check, or Credit Debit (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) or a pre-arranged funeral plan from any funeral home. Prior to services rendered, we require 50% payment of total funeral cost, and 100% payment of all Cash Advance items and direct cremations. The remainder of the balance is due and payable within 60 days from date of death. After 60 days, the account becomes past due and subject to 1.5% interest monthly (18% yearly).
