Obituary for Roger D. Lawrence

Roger D. Lawrence, 55 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away May 19, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Victory Assembly of God Church in Adrian, Missouri. Visitation will be Wednesday prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am also at the church. Burial to follow in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, Missouri. Contributions are suggested, in lieu of flowers to the family or to Victory Assembly of God Church. Services under the direction of the Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660)-679-0009. Roger Daryl Lawrence was born December 31, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri to Roger and Sharon Doody Lawrence. He graduated from Adrian High School and attended Bailey Technical School. After graduating he worked as a carpenter in construction for many years. Roger loved to fish, especially with his mother Sharon. He enjoyed his Bible verses, and was dedicated to his daily devotions. He was also determined to fix anything that needed it.

Roger was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Ethel Doody. He is survived by his wife Cindy Lawrence of Denver, CO., his mother Sharon Lawrence of Butler, MO., father Roger Lawrence, of Butler, MO., daughter Anna Keene and husband Justin, son D.J. Lawrence both of Butler, MO., along with his grandchildren, brothers Kent Lawrence and wife Bobbi of Rich Hill, MO., and Robert Lawrence of Kansas City, MO. Roger is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
