Obituary for Dane Taylor McLellan

Dane Taylor McLellan, 50 of Drexel, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the Drexel Christian Church, 211 Pine Street, Drexel, Missouri. Services under the direction of Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (660-679-0009). Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com

Dane was born September 02, 1966, in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Paola, KS and was a graduate of Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca, TX. He settled in Drexel, MO and worked primarily as a painting and remodeling contractor, and as an automotive mechanic. Dane was the happiest when he was spending time with his family and friends. He loved to be ridiculously silly telling jokes and playing pranks, he absolutely loved to make others laugh. He loved little garage projects and building things and especially loved anything with wheels and a motor. He loved his family and tried his best at everything he did.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Wayne and Alene McLellan, parents Merton Wayne McLellan and his mother, Delores Gander, uncle James McLellan, aunt Marlene Hayes and nephew Auston McLellan. Dane is survived by four sons; Kurtis McLellan (Tasha), Garrett McLellan, Jake McLellan, and Wyatt McLellan. Brothers, Wade McLellan (Angela) and Scott McLellan.
